Located in the district of Castello and near to St Mark’s Square in Venice; it is dedicated to the father of St John the Baptist. 

Situated in the Cannaregio district of Venice, it is richly decorated in beautiful artworks by Tintoretto and other significant artists.

Built originally on a vineyard in Castello in Venice, is with the “Frari”, only one of two Franciscan churches.
